Just a quick type by - cleaning up the office files. Stay warm and here's hoping we won't get as much snow as they predict.

I just typed three paragraphs and when I hit "ABC for spell check it erased my whole message. Are there gremlins in the air?? Terry the problem you mentioned regarding the e-mails has happened to me several times in the past week or so. The e-mail message is never on the blog?? The administrators should check to see what is going on.

To answer the rest of you NO I AM NOT PREPARING FOR SNOW> SNOW is a four letter word down here. I am still putting away Christmas decorations. Carol took apart her village display yesterday. She has several minature houses, stores, hotel etc; along with trees, people etc. We put it up on a table in the entry hall. I have to take down the Tree on the Lanai. Turned the lites off on the 6th as usual and now have to dismantle. It is more fun putting it all up, inside and out then it is taking them down and packing them away. My wife thinks I am nots because I keep a book of the the deco's and each itme goes into their numbered carton. Keeps me out of trouble!!! :bounce: I am NOT going to his spell check this time and take a chance on losing the whole message again so if there are mis-spelled words cest-le-vie

How pretty is it? I have seen 6 car wrecks that looked better. In the woods snow is pretty I will give you that. if you have to walk or drive in it IT AINT PRETTY :wtf:

My hubby has worked 17 straight days so far and some of them 12-14 hour shifts because of the snow and the sanitation is getting all the crap the mayor should be getting!!!

What I said Patsy was that while I may not agree with you about the snow, to paraphrase an old saying "I would fight to the death for your right to say it". I guess that delivering mail as a Letter Carrier in NJ for several years and then supervising 17 routes trying to get the mail through, it leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Then here come the sadist plow drivers who bury whatever you have already shoveled out. BAD MEMORIES of snow. :roll:

Hello Gang!!! I hope everyone is doing well. I have some sad news to report. We lost another one of our South Brooklyn brothers this past Sunday. Henry (Chap) Chaplin passed away after a long & courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 58, grew up on Prospect Ave, married Donna Pisciotti. He was my sister's brother in law. Please keep the Chaplin family in your prayers.

Big Mama, please try to organize a reunion for this year. You do so much for us and believe me, it is appreciated.

Hey Patsy & Deb, If you want more snow go to Dumont NJ. My daughter just got off the phone with Carol and she said they had at least 6" SO FAR and they are still having snow showers with heavy wind blown snow!!! :roll:

GOT about a foot of snow. someplaces more od less...is winter over now ??? lol, very windy out hard to tell if it stop snowing,or just blowing around......so stay warm my snow bunnies...see ya later...cabin fever already !!!!
