Good broker for Pros Heights? — Brooklynian

Good broker for Pros Heights?

We're still holding out for a no-fee, but we aren't sure it'll happen...

So, does anyone know a good broker for Prospect Heights. The last broker we used turned out to be good friends with the landlords, knew they were lousy and the building had issues, but sold it to our family as a great place to have a kid.

Anyway, this time we'd like someone reputable who won't run us all over the neighborhood looking at things that by no means fit our description of where we'd live.

Any hope?
Thanks!

  • Space Realty on 6th and Bergen was geat when we were searching 2 years ago. They have exclusive showings for a few buildings on Lincoln PL near Underhill. Wish i could remember the woman's name - she was so fantastic in helping us with water damage issues when our landlords were unreachable. Above and beyond the call of realtor duty.
  • hahahahah a good broker is like looking for the easterbunny, santa or that midget with a mullet I once saw at Ginger's. Try craigslist (and good luck!)

Also, I think there is an apt listing on this site.
  • All brokers are scum (except for my friend Shaun).
  • Please stop posting your opinions of brokers. If you don't have any really helpful information to finding an apartment, please don't post. I have a kid and am trying to find a place to live, I really don't want to get e-mails telling me that I have a response to this question, only to open it and find such silliness. I don't have time for that.

Honest help, or suggestions, greatly appreciated.
