Can you get me right to the new posts

When I open a thread my view is of the first message in the thread regardless of how long the thread is. Does phpBB have some sort of setting that would send me righ to the messages that are new to me? It seems to know enough to show me which messages are new to me, seems it shoulod be able to just take me there to

not sure this is quite right, but it's close. there may be a better way:

in the forum view, in the right hand column, it says "latest post by...". by the user's name who last posted, there's an arrow and a teensy page icon. if you click that icon (not the name), it will take you to the latest post, and you could page up from there.

or you could use the "posts since last visit" feature.
