Stolen bike seen on 18th Ave

As I was walking down 18th ave about 20 min ago I saw a 13-ish year old boy with a past shoulder length dark haired pony tail in blue jeans with a back pack jump off a bike, shouting to his 3 friends about the bike being lame. He just left the bike lying on the sidewalk in front of the faux Brooklyn Public Library lot (which I posted about a few weeks ago) and kept walking with his friends. My assumption is he stole the bike within a few blocks of where he left it, and then abandoned it.

So if you are the owner of a blue (ladies?) bike and it's now missing, there's a chance it is still abandoned on 18th ave between the F train and Ocean Parkway.

Bike theft sucks. Ive had 2 bike stolen thinking that was a thing of the past.
I mean come on who steals bikes right? I chain my new bike up with only the best locks now.
Anyone i see using a cable i always tell them DONT!
Real pros clip that cable in 5 seconds flat and theyre out!!!!
