Recycling Pick Up for Veterans Day Tomorrow
There is no sanitation pickup tomorrow, due to Veteran's Day. But there will be a special recycling pickup for us, since we missed last week. We may legally put our trash and recycling on the sidewalk after 4pm Tuesday, Nov. 11. It may be picked up Wednesday or on a later date.
Trash and/or recycling placed on the sidewalk on Monday evening or Tuesday before 4pm presents the possibility of a violation....

Yes, surely they must do something in this situation. Our building's recycling is overflowing and several houses on our block have left their recycling cans out since last Monday night (I guess hoping it would get picked up the following day, or the next, or the next?). I've seen no tickets on doors yet.
If not, I imagine folks will start dumping the recycling in black bags to get it picked up with the trash with the amounts of recycling I'm seeing stacked up around my block. -
Yay. They are finally taking the recycling.

Well, just come to Butler Place. Trash and recycling have been stacking up since last Friday night.
