Sheepshead Bay - Ave U

Greetings, folks.

I just joined this fine forum and would like to know a couple of things.

Even though I was not raised there, I spent a lot of time in the area around Ave U and E. 16th St (back in the 60's) and I'm curious to know if there are any posters here from that part of town. I did not attend Sheepshead Bay HS because I lived on the wrong (right?) side of the street, which was Ave U and E. 14th. St. right accross from the precinct.

Anybody here from this part of Brooklyn? I'd sure like to know.
