I'm looking for something to do on New Year's Eve in the neighborhood. Does anyone know of any bars doing something special? I heard something about fireworks in Prospect Park? I don't know, I was just hoping to stay local and am curious.

I know both Beast and Barrette both bars on the corner of Vanderbilt Ave. and Bergen are having parties (Barrette's is all night long) on New Years. Food and drink deals, music,

Beast has costume prizes and Barrette has burlesque dancing.

Vanderbilt has a lot going on for the Eve of the New year.
