Anybody able to recommend a reasonable and reliable electrician to install some light fixtures for me?

  • PM me...I know someone in the neighborhood. He's completely trustworthy and good. How many fixtures do you have? What's the situation? Do they need to run a line? Where's the fixture? Any details? My electrician just did a big job for me. He lives in the neighborhood and does high end residential.
  • I haven't used this person myself yet, but I got a recommendation from a friend in my building:

    Chris Harrison

He's licensed and insured, which is important if you're in a co-op or condo.
  • Subject: good electrician

We've used a great electrican for years! John Matthews - he's licensed and has been doing this work for over 30 years - which means he knows how to work in & around these old places in Brooklyn! Reliable & a good value! Give him a call either 917-440-6089 or at home 718-826-2151 and leave a msg with his wife!
  • For installing fixtures and fans, I've used a guy named Rickie (a friend of a friend, he works at the Brooklyn Museum) He's a doll, shows up when he says he will, and fair priced.
