I kind of lost track - 11:30 or so? I stayed up later trying to preserve all the leftovers....
  • I donno man, I got home at 11:30 so that means we left right before that...
  • Coulda been later. I know I didn't get to sleep until around 3am.

Carni, I had dreams about that spam you brought.
  • Brooklynbound and I left at midnight.
  • yeah that kimchi was awesome!!
  • Mougar wrote: [quote=whynot_31]yea, who is hosting 5.0? ...Mougie, you ready to get evicted yet?
I should definitely host either 5.0 or 6.0. I don't actually have cable, but that's ok right?

absolutely. instead of "Un-Real World 5.0", you could call it "Without Real World 5.0"

    ...3/20/09?
  • Fairly soon we will have to start the cycle over and have Carmen host again......

You can take the boy out of Crown Heights, but you can't take Crown Heights out of the boy.
It's kind of funny, I had cable the whole time I was in Crown Heights but I just didn't use it that much. I'd have it on in the background sometimes, and would mostly watch shows that I can just get for free on Hulu anyway.

I'm getting Internet at my new place, but $60+ a month for something I will barely use doesn't seem worth it.

It helps that my TV has a VGA input so I can hook my laptop up to it for watching Hulu.
  • Um, Manther?

LOL I have been telling him that for the last 21 years :)
    Glad you guys had fun
I would love to host one but you know that damn kid of mine goes to bed early :)

And a general note to future hosters. Do not, under any circumstances, leave your computer on with you logged into Brookynian.

^^^That was Carni I believe, posting as me....

Edited to add that it was really nice to finally meet Carni and also really nice to meet Nomad and Brooklynbound. All genuinely nice people!!!
  • I thought that was Mamacita!
  • Mamacita actually identified herself (as a good friend would). I also have no idea who wrote this, but it wasn't me:

Most likely I should have not started drinking the sweet tea at 6pm. Why, you liked the sweet tea, yes?

    LOL. You did!
  • the sweet tea was tooooo sweeeet.

It did the job, but I mostly drank it because I hadn't seen a pre-mixed cocktail of that strength (jack daniel's lemonade is only about 10%), firefly was 35%. ...nor had I seen a ice tea variety.

I did have two glasses though....
The only cocktail I usually drink is rum and coke. Mostly a beer guy.
