Knit PH at Prospect Perk Cafe

Knit PH meets at Prospect Perk Cafe from 7:00 until 9:00 every second Tuesday of the month. This cozy cafe seats 12 people. The "RSVP MAYBE" feature is disabled to ensure that we have enough seating, so please be sure to RSVP as "Yes" or "No" for Knit PH at Prospect Perk Cafe. Prospect Perk Cafe is conveniently located between the 7th Av "Q" stop and the G.A.P. "2/3" stop on the corner of Sterling Place and Flatbush. They have hot-pressed and cold sandwiches, fine teas, hot cocoa, coffee, pastries... and of course, knitting. So stop in on your way home and sit a while. AFGHANS FOR AFGHANS REMINDER
In March, Knit PH and organizer Eliza B. are collecting knit and crochets blanket squares for the Afghans for Afghans charity drive. Bring your squares to Knit PH on March 10, or just drop them off when you can at Prospect Perk Cafe. Deadline is March 31.

Casserole Night at Freddy's

Knit PH will not meet at Freddy's in March, it will return in April.

Instead Knit PH members are invited to participate in Casserole Night at Freddy's brought to you by PHCPS. The Prospect Heights Casserole Preservation Society is dedicated to perpetuating and exploring a tradition of oven-stewed meals. What can be better than sharing a hearty meal with friends over a frosty beer? Join us at Freddy's on Saturday March 21st for an early evening treat. Knitting is optional, a lip-smackin' good time is mandatory.
