Spring Break Program for Kids
Spring Break Workshops taking place at the Puppetry In Practice Museum, 3131 Nostrand Ave (between Quentin and Ave R), Brooklyn, NY 11229
April 13-17, 10am-1pm. Snack provided. for ages 6-12 years
$90 for all five workshops
$20 per 3 hour workshop

Monday: Sock Puppets: Each child will make his/her own colorful sock puppet animal with lots of personality and see a puppet show.
Tuesday: Flour Dough Sculpture: Master flour dough artist Xun Ye will share this artistry that was passed down by his grandfather. Each child will make their own model magic sculpture.
Wednesday: Cone Puppets: Together we will read the story of The Empty Pot and children will make their own puppet characters from the story: the boy, the girl or the emperor.
Thursday: Noodle Puppets: Each child will learn to make rod noodle puppet characters and take one home!
Friday: Toy Theater Stage: Our final workshop day children will make toy theater stages for their puppets and can invite their parents to come visit the program.
