White Audio Labs Stereo Power Amp - $600

It's a long shot, but if there are any stereo nuts frequenting the boards, it's a great deal.

I'm going to be replacing the power amp in my main stereo system. The amp for sale is a White Audio Labs stereo power amp. The White retailed for over $4k, it's got powerhouse control and great finesse. It's a little old, but still working beautifully. This would be great as:

* a replacement to the power amp in your two channel system. If you have an integrated amp with preamp outputs, you would see a marked improvement using your integrated as a preamp only, while letting this drive your speakers.

* an addition to your home theater system, driving the left and right main speakers. You will see huge gains in both movie and music playback. Most home theater receivers have preamp outs, you can continue to drive your center and surrounds with the receiver while the White does the heavy lifting on the L&R channels.

As is the case with many small, high-end audio manufacturers, you probably haven't heard of White Audio... You may have heard of Conrad-Johnson, one of the most highly respected manufacturers in the game - after an A/B listening session vs. a C-J MF-2300A, the White was the amp that made it in to my system - that's saying a lot. I haven't personally listened to it vs Krell, but my colleagues say that it compares very favorably against some of the best stereo amps that Krell has offered.
