A family that I know lost their beloved beagle/pug mix on Monday night. If you know anyone who has found a dog fitting the description below, please contact me. Thanks!

SONNET ran out around 9 pm on Monday evening (May 11th) from our front yard on Clifton and Nostrand and we haven't seen her. She was sighted racing down Dekalb Ave and Grand around 10 pm on Monday evening. Wednesday night we got a call around 4 am to say that she was on Dekalb and Carlton and dashed over immediately. We walked the streets with a mike shouting her name unitl 6 am but could not find her.
She is about 40 punds, a puggle with brown short hair and a green collar. Unfortunately her tag is missing. I am attaching a couple of photos. We bring her to Fort Greene Park in the morning off leash hours so she is used to the park and some of you might recognise her.

Please call Sujatha at 917 365 3023 if you see her. Its best not to try and grab her as she is very skiddish and runs fast. Just keep her in sight and call me or my husband Tor at 347 591 9480. She is a real sweetheart and we miss her!

Poor puppy! I hope you find her. I'll sticky this for you, but report back with updates so we know when to "Un-sticky"

good luck, remember to post on craigslist and to put fliers up even outside your neighborhood. Dogs end up roaming far.
  • Thanks for posting the photos! We are helping them to post and call everyplace we can think of. I will definitely keep this updated.
  • Someone called them on Saturday because they thought they spotted Sonnet, but they weren't able to find her. They are still holding out that she will turn up safe and sound.
