Former Israeli Ambassador will be speaking in Brooklyn

The Honorable Yehudah Avner was the personal advisor to five Israeli Prime Ministers including Levi Eshkol, Golda Meir, and Yitzchak Rabin as well as the Former Israeli Ambassador to Ireland and Australia. Mr. Avner delivers an intriguing lecture, as he was privy to the inner workings of the Israeli Government, and its relationship to the United States, during pivotal times in history.

Thursday, June 25, 2009, Mr. Avner will conclude his whirlwind, nationwide, speaking tour in Park Slope, Brooklyn. The lecture will take place at CBJ 401 9th Street (bet. 6th & 7th aves.) in Brooklyn. There will be a dinner served prior to the lecture beginning at 6:45 p.m. Lecture at 8:00 p.m.

June 25 corresponds to the third day of the Hebrew month of Tammuz, which is the anniversary of passing of the Lubavitcher Rebbe. The evening is a tribute to the Rebbe’s leadership, and, his vision of Jewish renaissance. Ambassador Avner had a unique relationship with the Rebbe and will share some of the insights and guidance he merited to receive from him.
