Late Christmas tree sightings
ok folks, it is now January 19th. ..this means that if you purchased a Christmas tree it is shedding its needles and a major fire hazard.
The city's trees to mulch program is now ending.
If you are keeping it because you think Santa missed your apartment on Christmas, and will make up for it by stoppong some other night, now is the time to give up hope.
If you haven't already done so, it is now time to drag the tree to the curb.
It is hoped that this this thread will contain pictures of needle-less trees and their slacker owners. With dedication, we might be able to see trees and keep this lame thread going as late as March 1st.

That was a long wait for Santa to arrive, those damn air controllers. -
I threw my tree to the curb on January 1st and yet on January 19th, it's still sitting there.
Why oh why did the city not pick it up? Someone explain this to me. And btw, it doesn't have any lights or ornaments on it -- I follow rules.

we've got quite a few trees that have been sitting on the curb for a few weeks in my neighborhood (why oh why?). but what i really don't get, is WHY do people take a perfectly good biodegradable/compostable/mulch-able tree and WRAP IT IN PLASTIC?!...and then toss it out. WHY?! :x
