Brooklyn based HapsMap.com officially launched today!

Hi all,

Just wanted to make a post about a website that friends and I have been working on for the last year and are just now launching (we're from Brooklyn so this is not completely random - hopefully our post wont get deleted..?). The site is www.HapsMap.com and basically, it allows you to share and discuss things happening with other users of the site. It's completely free to use and happenings can be pretty much anything you think is worth sharing (from the spontaneous to the upcoming; the mundane to the miraculous), just as long as they aren't exceedingly inappropriate or anything...

The map on the home page shows little icons on it marking the geographic locations of happenings that have been posted (in Brooklyn and beyond). The map defaults to show happenings that are on whatever the current day is, but you can adjust it to view upcoming, or past happenings as well. By clicking on the icons on the map you can get more information on what happenings they represent, or view any related pictures/comments that have been added.
