Sweet and eccentric female marmalade tabby needs a home!
Originally rescued from the rough streets of Bushwick, 6 or so years ago, Pinky is a very loving and sweet cat who's a bit of a whackburger (e.g., she'll burrow way under your comforter and sleep - not hide - there; she'll make a nest out of plastic bags; she'll get crazy dizzy with the cat dancer), and she needs a good home. She's probably about 7 or 8 years old.

Her original rescuer dumped her with a girlfriend, who didn't really care for her at all. I know the g.f. peripherally and took care of Pinky while she was in a foreign country. I couldn't continue to foster her or keep her (which I would love to do) b/c she and my roommate's 2 (female) cats didn't get along at all; she got along, after an initial period of abhorrence, with my elderly male cat. A friend is currently fostering her and can't continue to do so for much longer.
As noted, she's very playful, sweet and affectionate in the extreme to her caregiver, but will occasionally make pre-emptive swats at other cats if she feels threatened. She would do best in a household with no other cats or one who will just give her a swat back and settle it then and there, and it will all stop.

She's good with the litter pan (i.e., no "accidents"), loves to play, and while not a lap cat will snuggle with you if you let her and loves to be petted. She is fixed and is up to date on shots.
PM for more information, to ask any questions, or with any suggestions for a good home for her!
