Holy Hail? What a Way to Wake Up.

Who else was stunned to hear hail pounding on your window around 8 AM this morning - then just like that, the rain washed all the proof away. Anyone got video or pics of this?

I was out walking the dog tnat that time - we got a heavy burst of rain, but no hail in Park Slope.

I was in the park from 8-10:30 and only got rain but some north slope friends said they saw hail before 8 at home.

Crummy weather, but it makes for a nice small crowd at off-leash

The hail came down this morning at apprx 7:56am.


They were small in size, but they were pouring down pretty hard.

Started with a great thunderclap, then a hail barrage the likes of which I've rarely seen. Pretty outstanding stuff.

OMG i was out in this stuff and i was soooo petrified. it was like pebbles from the heavens. this guy said he never saw anything like it. me too. all i kept saying, LORD please get me to the train station safely. i was walking up hoyt st to get the #2 train to flatbush to go to work. as i got to atlantic ave,OMG, is all i can say. im just glad im ok. lol lol.

by the time i got to newkirk ave,it was as if nothing ever happened.
