Help out with Summer Streets - Saturday, June 12

Volunteers are needed to lend a hand at Summer Streets on Vanderbilt on its opening day - Saturday, June 12 as well as Sundays, June 20 and June 27. Once again, Summer Streets will close Vanderbilt Avenue from Park Place to Dean Street to create a pedestrian plaza with music, performances, fun for kids and outdoor dining. Saturday, June 12 a number of bars will be hosting viewings of the World Cup Games.

It's mostly light work setting up tables, chairs and equipment. Also helpful would be someone with experience setting up sound equipment and a few people to help with a kids' mural project. More details are below.

10 am-12 pm Set-up
12- 5 pm Floaters needed; help with art activities; help musicians set-up
5- 7 pm Break-down
