  • I also think that the Lincoln PL / St Johns end of PH has so many "natural" advantages. (subway access) The nice new Median makes Eastern Parkway even more grand and easier to access the Cultural institutions and vice versa... The visitors might make it down to PH. That fancy glass condo building...

  • Hi LaddHalsey

Yes the couple times I have walked down the street it was noticeable that a couple people said hello and were friendly. This does not happen that much in the Slope where I have lived for while, people are often so busy navigating their double decker stroller setups to smile. I was psyched to see Bar Corvo over there on Washington too- AldiLa is great. Its nice to see that and also see the jerk chicken over the counter place next door. It is so close to subways too-, I agree and hope Eastern Parkway will look better soon and be easier to cross, anyone know when that construction is scheduled to end?

  • I have lived here for 35 Years and I do appreciate the improvements in the noise level so I can hit the books and create art without worrying about stray bullets coming in through the window. Please don't get all huffy about "drug dealing" because plenty of white people smoke weed last time I checked and since it is STILL illegal one must resort to the local drug dealers to score. I have no use for snooty restaurants that charge a lot for skimpy portions, and have rude service to boot. We used to put the speakers in the windows to blast Reggae music back in the 1970s when Reggae was golden. Now I just annoy my downstairs neighbours.
