NY Times article compares South Orange, NJ to Park Slope — Brooklynian

NY Times article compares South Orange, NJ to Park Slope

Hey,

Did you see this article? It compares living in Park Slope vs. living in South Orange. As an ex-Brooklynite who moved to South Orange I know the best, and worst, of both the Suburban and Urban worlds.

When my wife and I had our second son we knew we needed more space and a better school district. I cried when we moved out of apartment on Carrol St. I loved Brooklyn so much, but I also knew it was what I had to do. Years later I don't regret it one bit. My kids are thriving here and my wife and I have met so many NYC transplants it doesn't feel like we ever left "home".

Read the Times article here:

Then come back and read my post from a couple of days ago: "Why you should live in South Orange"

If you think your time to move is now, or you have questions about making the transition, please contact me. I'll give you skinny, without the hard sell -- I still have very dear friends in BK that I can't convince to move out here :).
