Help with posting - why is my post closed to new replies?

Hi. I just joined the site and put a post on the Park Slope message board but I don't see it there unless I go into my profile. Also, when I look at my post, it says it's closed to new replies. I don't know if I hit a wrong button or what. Please help.

Thanks.

  • Weird. I can't see it anywhere. Can you paste the URL for your post here in the comments?

Otherwise, just try posting it again.

  • Hi, I've tried posting again but every time I do the same thing happens. And when I go into my profile, it shows up under the Replies section and not in the posting section. So strange. I keep trying to post to the Park Slope Forum but the same thing keeps happening.

    Here is my attempted post.

I write the home design column for the Park Slope Patch, a new online news site covering the Park Slope community, and I'm looking to profile and interview a Park Slope resident who has a fantastically designed apt/home. Is your home inspiring? Can you recommend a fellow Park Sloper who fits the bill? The site will launch in early December so I'm looking for someone NOW! I will set up an interview to discuss what makes your space interesting, your design philosophy and influences, as well as take photographs for the website. If interested, please contact me ASAP at [email protected]. Please provide contact information and a description and/or photos of the space. Thank you!

  • Hi TeresaLamb,

Our spambot-detector misfired and categorized your post as spam. I fixed it. Closing thread but let me know if you have any more problems.
