Considering moving to new development on Bergen and Classon

Hey,

Me and my friend are considering moving to Bergen Ave between Classon and Grand Ave. Is this a good place to move?

I know there is no such thing as a 100% safe hood, but not so sure... some people say its crown heights, some say its PH. I don't care about the name, I just want to make sure that I can take a train home when its dark and not be paranoid.

Comments? Thoughts?

Have you and your friend gone to see the place? Walked around the area during the day? the night? What were your impressions?

Assuming that you and your friend aren't gang members or involved in the drug trade you are probably going to be fairly safe. However Bergen St can seem pretty barren at parts of the night so its often more comfortable to keep to the busier avenues for as much as your walk allows.

FYI Most people around here would consider that location to be Crown Heights. Except for real estate agents that is.
