Today we start of with a 5 mile run. In this run we are jogging 2 minutes and sprinting 30 seconds. We will continue this pace for the entire

5 miles. The reason we do this is to replicate our activity in the Boxing ring. The jogging portion represents moving around the ring during a fight while Boxing from the outside utilizing your double or triple jab, until you earn your way tactfully to the inside" the kill zone" this is where the sprint comes into place. The sprinting replicates a multi punch combination. During this time you are throwing 5, 6 7 punches at once.

An example of this would be to jab your way in then go to the body with a left, right uppercut combo the hook to the head finished with a hard right to finish the fight. If it didn't happen this time, thats where the conditioning comes in to play. You start all over again with the jab and go back to work. If you can stay on the inside keep moving side to side and punch from different angles. You earned the right to be in the kill zone. Don't give it up. In the ring you're all alone. You have no teammates to depend on. All you have is your instinct, your calculation for carrying out your game plan and most importantly, your conditioning.
