Hi,

I'm planning a Brooklyn wedding shower for my roomie's out of town wedding for the NYers who can't travel to attend the wedding. Any ideas on a cute place in Prospect Heights/ Park Slope/ Carrol Gardens/ etc. to have post Prospect Park BBQ wine and dessert?

Walking/ subway distance from Prospect Park is key.

Any group activity ideas that could take place inside incase of rain?

Thanks!

    Thanks!

I'm not a member of Montauk Club... although it looks very nice. I will scope out Sepia this weekend, since I've never been.

Has anyone been to Boudoir Bar on Smith St? I figure we could take the F over there & it looks cool on Citysearch.
  • I haven't been inside The Chocolate Room yet, but I bet it would be wonderful. It's on Fifth Avenue, just north of Prospect Place. Here's their website.

Cocoa Bar, on Seventh Avenue between 4th and 5th is also pretty decadent, and expensive, but they have two rooms and I think they have a garden as well. Their "chocolattes" are delicioso.

    I wanna go NOW.
  • whoah! Cocoa Bar looks amazing! I rarely venture down that far on 7th Ave. I'm totally missing out. Thanks for the suggestion.
