NYC Council and Human Rights:What Grade Did Your Council Member Receive?

Recently, the Human Rights Project at the Urban Justice Center released the 2012 New York City Council Human Rights Report Card.

Thirteen Council members scored in the “A” range this year, five of whom are from Brooklyn - Council Members Tish James, Charles Barron, Jumaane Williams, Brad Lander, and Stephen Levin. In addition, the Brooklyn Delegation to Council received the third highest cumulative score, 54%, a B grade, with a high score in workers' rights and a low score in criminal and juvenile justice.
