Prospect Heights Trees! Please help!

Hi everyone, we hope you're enjoying the beginning of spring.

We have a special need for volunteers on Friday April 26, in the morning. We have received twelve beautiful iron tree guards that need to be installed on Vanderbilt Ave. that morning. They're heavy so we need some able bodied volunteers, but there will also be some hole digging assignments. We don't expect this to take more than a couple of hours, but we really really need help. Please drop a line if you're free - the exact time is TBD, but I expect we'll start early, close to 9. Once I have a list together, I'll email again with the details. Feel free to pass the word on to friends who might be interested. And thank you.

Another note: If you're a member of the Park Slope Food Coop, there's a new tree care squad being formed that will care for the trees on the coop's side of Union St. You can get FTOP credit for participating. I've attached a flyer with info - please let me know if you have any questions.

Also, we do have some gator watering bags available. If you're interested on one for your young street tree, drop a line and we'll arrange pick up.
