“Lord, what fools these mortals be!”

Calling all clowns and makers of mischief and magic! Come explore one of Shakespeare's best-loved comedies that features a bumbling bunch of buffoons, rebellious runaways, fiesty fairies and a prankster named Puck. A week with storytelling, improv, theatre games, music, stage combat, movement, costumes and props culminates in a hilarious performance of scenes from A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM for friends and family. No previous experience necessary.

Actor, teacher, and director Renee Bucciarelli’s Shakespeare Playground™ has served hundreds of public, private, and home-schooled Brooklyn school children and been in residency at several Shakespeare companies, including Brooklyn’s Kings County Shakespeare, Shakespeare on the Sound (Connecticut), and the California Shakespeare Theater. The Shakespeare Playground is now based in British Columbia, and Young Actors Workshop is pleased to host Renee’s return to her favorite borough.
