All are invited to this highly informative seminar organized by LIU in collaboration with the Senior Umbrella Network of Brooklyn (SUN-B), Center Light Healthcare and the NYC Office of Minority Health. Dr. Frederick Sherman, chief medical officer for Archcare is the the keynote speaker. He has been practicing, teaching and writing about geriatrics for more than three decades. Mr.James O’Neal, director of community outreach for Center Light Healthcare will discuss the limited choices available for Medicare and Medicaid recipients as it becomes mandatory for them to join a managed healthcare plan.
