KITTENS for Adoption - 7 Weeks Old
Seven (7) seven-week old kittens, four females, three males. All healthy, FIV/FeLV negative, no URI, no fleas, no health issues at all. Very bubbly, precocious, playful and sweet-natured - really! Born indoors so they are well-socialized and people friendly. They bounce up to meet you, happy to say hello and receive petting and nuzzling. They look right into your eyes with their adorable inquisitive little faces. Two all black, three b/w, one tortie and one orange. Prefer to adopt in pairs, or to home with another cat. Adoption application and adoption fee required. For more info, please contact Meredith at 718-921-1292 or Carl 646-236-6645 or email [email protected].

Soooo cute! Not only am I making this a sticky, but I might keep it that way even after these guys are adopted (which I'm sure won't be too long from now)!

wow mr tux is sooooo cute. i'm so tempted to get one. blah i'm not a good person for pets or anything. i have tons of stuff i dont need and brought on impulse in my garage right now, inculding a scooter.

They are just as sweet as they are cute. The photos don't lie! The kittens were born inside to a rescued pregnant stray cat. They have been pampered their whole lives and are very social. These kittens will run right up to you ... not go running under the couch to hide. They will bring a lot of joy to several lucky households.

"Mr. Tux" a male Torti??? Those kitties are hot for the taking

Glad to see you're on Flickr, I think it makes it much easier to get to the photos! The kittens are all adorable, and my cat would like you to know that she would like to eat them.

Yeah, my house is a maximum cat density already or I'd go for it too. You should post info on them in the photo descriptions so that Flickr users in the area who don't get to the pics through the link here can find out about them too! There are also several adoptable pet photo pools you could send the pics to as well to get the word out -- I found a bunch just now through doing a group search:

Yeah, Flickr has a lot of great community tools. If you think you'd benefit from a paid account to use them all (not sure what the limits on free accounts are), maybe some of us dailyheights cat lovers would club together to pay the $25.

Hmmm... That's a really good idea. Has any of the regular foster posters had luck with Flickr?

You could always join a couple of Flickr groups and ask in the group discussion boards there how much success the other group members have had. Or just try posting some and see how it goes -- wouldn't take that much more effort, as the group pool interface there is pretty simple. -
Hmm, are you a pet shelter or the like? I was wondering if there was something like the North Shore Animal League here.

These kittens are part of Neighborhood Cats, a TNR organization in Manhattan. The kitten's mom was trapped during a project and soon after being trapped gave birth to these little guys and gals. They don't have one feral bone in their body since they have been around people their entire lives. I don't run a shelter, they just happened to come along with the TNR project. They are all still available, no good candidates have called yet. Please send any interested candidates my way!

Does Marmalade have a home yet? I know someone who's thinking about getting an orange kitty, and I'd like to point her to Marmalade's pic but don't want to if he/she is already adopted (this friend lost a much-loved kitty fairly recently and I don't want to get her hopes up if it's not possible).
-
Marmalade is still available
Please send her my way!! -
do you link these ads to petfinder? that's where I found my rescues...
-
Yes, they are linked to Petfinder. It is definitely a great site to find a cat to adopt.
-
The kittens are now right around 10 weeks old. They are really coming into their own little personalities these days. There are two torties and one black/white tuxedo still available ... all little girls.
-
All of these kittens have found homes. Thanks everyone!
