Abandoned pups up for adoption!

I'm currently fostering two sweet, small pitbulls that were abandoned today in Bed-Stuy, and they need forever homes! Here's the story from friends who found them: "Today, these two sweet pitbulls were abandoned at Herbert Von King Dog Park in Bedstuy, Brooklyn. 1 female, 1 male around 2-3 years old, possibly related. We came to learn that some woman, left these dogs at the dog park on purpose, tied together, out in the freezing cold, to send a message to her boyfriend. The boyfriend and his friend came looking for these dogs at the park. When we asked the boyfriend if he wanted his dogs back, his reply was "I would, but she would just throw them back out here tomorrow. If you want them, y'all can have 'em." The boy pitbull (named Prince) panicked, begged, and cried when he realized his owner was abandoning him, which took no more than 5 minutes. Since both dogs looked neglected, we found them emergency foster care for a few nights. But it's not over! We need to find a long term foster to adopt situation! Please contact (718)974-7081 (leave a message!) if you are interested in taking these two. They have already been through so much, we do not want to split them up. We will if we have to... but ideally... we'd like them to be fostered and adopted together!"Photos here: https://www.facebook.com/hvkdogparkI've had them at home for a few hours now, and they are very sweet, calm, and cuddly. They are housetrained, not aggressive with food or toys, and happy to lounge by the radiator in a nice, warm house. If you're interested, please let me know or call the number above. All area rescues have been contacted, of course, but the folks who found them hope to find a loving home directly. Thanks for spreading the word!
