Russian dumplings at Cafe Glechik

Did you guys see this review in the NYT Dining In/Dining Out section today? I must try this place! It seems easy enough to get to (B to Brighton). Anyone up for a DH field trip?

Here's the review:

  • yes! I bet EmilyM would also go.
  • Maybe lunch on Saturday? It wouldn't have to be as early as last week, since I won't be coming off an overnight shift.

    it'd have to be after 2 p.m.
  • would the D get us there? the B never runs on weekends and the Q isn't running this weekend.

I don't think so./ Maybe we should wait until the trains have normalized.
  • I still haven't gotten to try it. Mrs. C (my wife) and mahina went last week for lunch and thought it was pretty good. I must try it for myself though!
  • Personally, I find that the servings of dumplings (pelmeni) are too small - I need at least 50 to a serving. And the dumplings are often too small. I'm talking generally, not about any particular eatery.
