There goes the neighborhood again
We made AMNY's neighborhood series this morning. I've been in Bensonhurst for two years now and still have much to explore.

Subject: Two Starbucks are better than One
Visited the new Starbucks on 86th St. last weekend. Bigger than the one on 18th down in the 60s. I know the whole concept of Starbucks is way wrong but they do make a damn fine cup of coffee. -

Hey Ace!
Have you been to Carluccio's Brooklyn Italian Heroes on 15th Ave. and 78th St. in Bensonhurst ? I've been trying to figure out if this place is actually there so I can grab a sub. It's supposed to be amazing
Thanks in advance -

I have not been there yet. I am about three years in Bhurst so I am still finding things. (no good bar yet). I am mostly an 18th Ave. person. Our two Starbucks pretty much mark my stomping.........grounds.

Subject: Oh....I miss Carluccio's
Yes, Carluccio's is very much there. It's right in my former neighborhood. We moved from 76th and 16th just this past April....to Buffalo. Ick. Carluccio's was my savior while I was pregnant last year. Their sub menu is amazing, but I always went with the most basic - the Frank Sinatra. Ask for some of their sundried tomatoes and basil mix along with your regular sandwich fixings and you're bound to have a food orgasm.
If you're lucky to get there when they have zeppoles out on the counter for sampling, be sure to take one!
