Looking for an apartment in Prospect Heights, Crown Heights, Park Slope, Carroll Gardens, Fort Greene. One bedroom (or larger, also might consider studio with separate kitchen). Looking to pay around $1200. Would like to avoid a broker's fee.

I'm a single woman who works full-time as a software programmer.

I live in Crown Heights , we pay $750 a month for a rent stabilized apartment , and there is a sign on my building thats says "Apartments Available NO FEE One bedroom $799 a month" , I don't know if these apartments are in my building , but if they are you will like it here! Its a quiet building . Nice sized rooms ,hard wood floors , high ceilings.

You'll live two streets from the Brooklyn Museum , Mount Prospect park , Botanical Garden , Brooklyn Library and Prospect Park is like 10 minutes away by foot.
The neighborhood is not so bad , everyone is nice and everything is right around the corner or down the street! Subway and all!
