How do I delete/change my user name?

I just created an account and I tried a user name that had some weird characters in it to see if it would be accepted. Well it was and I thought, "Cool". But apparently even if it is accepted it doesnt mean it will be displayed properly. So as you can probably see my username is a bunch of giberish. I cant create a new one because it says that my email is already being used. Is it possible to change my username or get it deleted so I can create a new one using my same email address?

I don't think it's possible to change your username, but I can delete the username you have and you can then re-register under a new username. Want me to do that?

If possible, I would love to change my username too. Sadly, I don't have a good reason. And though I suspect this is not the type of request you guys want to encourage...I thought I'd ask...
