Gunshots? Early Wednesday Morning?

I've been waiting to see if anyone else would post this first or not. Perhaps I am just going crazy. But am I the only one that heard around 6 shots in a row in the wee hours of the morning... 5am or so?? Sounded as if it came from the St Marks side of things. St Marks and Underhill.

Whatever it was, it woke me up out of a dead sleep... and was just wondering if anyone else heard it.

I didn't hear anything, but my wife feels like she heard something.

wow - I'm surprised they were real...
I was hoping it was early morning construction...
They def woke me up too.
There were a lot of shots and there was a lot of time in between each one...

Yes, I heard them as well at around 4:53 am. I called the 77th instead of 911 and they said I was the third person to call. I live on Prospect Place between Underhill and Washington, it sounded like the shots were coming from Park Place, perhaps a roof top.

I heard them too! I'm on Underhill between St. Mark's and Bergen, and they sounded to me like they were coming from Washington, maybe? I didn't really wake up all the way, and thought maybe I'd dreamt the whole thing...

I thought I heard them too as I was getting ready for work. I think I heard single shoots about 30 seconds to a minute apart and there were about 4 of them. I live on Prospect and Underhill and also thought that I heard them coming from the direction of Park Place.

We woke up to the gunshots at 4:30am -- there were a few of them several minutes apart. Crazy! We are on Prospect Place and Underhill, and thought they were coming from the backyards (Washington Ave direction).
