If you step in it? Human. Far and away. It's atomic. I had an unfortunate run in (ha!) with a pile that was so fetid that I had to throw the shoes out. And don't think I didn't try to clean the shoe first. I scrubbed with all my might with all the cleaning products I had. I soaked the shoe. I left the shoe in the rain for DAYS. The smell would not go away.

To this day I am convinced that it wasn't dog but human feces.
