brooklyn heights studios/shares

Hi everyone,
I am in search of a studio or share in Brooklyn Heights. My limit is $1300. I would really appreciate hearing from anyone with info. on rentals in the neighborhood. Have tried a couple of agents there but so far nothing in my price range. Thank you!!!

I moved to the neighborhood about 7 months ago, and initially started my search by trying to find a studio in the hood for under $1500. The options are very slim. The only places I was shown over a 2 month period were an oddly-designed and in poor shape studio in 52 Clark, and some basement studio with awful lighting that had pipes running through it somewhere on Cranberry or Orange, can't quite remember. If you increase your budget to about $1700 you'll find more options, but at $1300 you're better off doing what I wound up doing...finding a share. I live now in a 3 bed/2 bath with living room, dining room, and a doorman, for $1200 a month.
