Stink on Plaza Street East — Brooklynian

Stink on Plaza Street East

Nobody's complaining about the "topsoil" stench around the doctor's offices and apt. building on Plaza Street and St. John's? Man, I don't know what they put in there but everybody passing by is holding their noses. Is there no way to prevent this kind of sabotage of our living conditions? In fact, I'm calling 311 in a sec.

  • @ian2010 topsoil shouldn't smell unless it's an earthy/manure smell. Is it more chemical in nature?
  • It's probably manure.  Give it a few days and a good rainstorm, and that should take care of the smell.
  • You prefer piss and trash? Relax and give a few days. Or call 911
  • Maybe fish fertilizer?

    "Sabotage of our living conditions"....?
A bit hysterical, don't you think?

Let us know how that 311 thing works out.
  • Maybe it's those trees that stink when they start to bud. I think they are ginkgo trees?
  • Ginkos smell like vomit, after the fruits fall and rot
  • Ahh thanks for that Goldemi - I thought it was when it flowered.
  • It's no doubt the manure. It will be gone in a few days.
