French Immersion Playgroup & After-School

Dear Parents,

We are happy to introduce you our new French Immersion Playgroup "La Souris Verte” located in the heart of Carroll Gardens. Our programs emphasize learning through play and arts while introducing the French language and culture through our daily activities in a safe, fun and creative environment.

We are offering 3 different programs:

- A pre-k program for children ages 2 to 4

Monday - Friday from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm. 

*5, 3, 2 days option are available.

Along the year, our class will follow the stories of "Berthe, la Souris Verte” our mascot. Through stories, games, songs, cooking, arts and crafts, the children are invited to develop communicative skills in French as well as social skills, fine motor skills, counting, rhyming, and more!

- An after-school program for children ages 3.5 to 10

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

3:00 pm - 7:00 pm / 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm / 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

This program promotes creativity through arts & crafts, group games, singing, dancing, cooking and more in a French speaking environment.

- French tutoring and homework help for children ages 6 to 11 (6th grade)

Wednesday from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm

Lessons focus on your child's specific class work. The goal is to strengthen his/her understanding of the grammar, syntax, and vocabulary that are the foundation of the French language. In addition, the French tutor will assist with homework and preparation for quizzes and exams.

All classes are supervised by 2 qualified and experienced instructors. There are 10 children max per class. Places are limited!

Also on Thursday September 11th, we will hold 2 special sessions from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Children will be engaged in fun activities while parents will enjoy French snacks and learn more about our playgroup.
