Support PS 9 on GivingTuesday (and beyond)!

I saw below that whynot had invited folks to plug their favorite nonprofit now that "donation season" has started.  So here goes!

A great local public school benefits everyone! This year, the PS 9 family is asking our Prospect Heights community to join us on GivingTuesday, a "global day of giving" on December 2 that encourages contributions to nonprofit organizations.  For all the ways to give, head to ps9brooklyn.org/donate.

Although GivingTuesday is primarily an online movement, PS 9 parents will also be outside our school (at St. Marks and Underhill) WITH FREE COFFEE tomorrow (December 2) from 8:10 am until 8:45am, and after school around 2:45.  We'll be accepting any contributions to our annual appeal, but we'll also be there to talk about why we fundraise, where the money goes, and why you should support our great local public school!

Over the years, we've been lucky to have some generous supporters from outside the immediate PS 9 parent community.  Every dollar helps, but if you're in a position to consider a larger contribution and would like to arrange a time to discuss your donation in advance, please PM me or email [email protected].
