NYC Compost Project Food Scrap Collection Begins!
Great news!
With your help we have a location for our new food scrap drop-off station sponsored by the New York City Department of Sanitation! We will be set up at the 7th Avenue subway station on the corner of Carlton Avenue and Park Place. Collections will start on Wednesday, January 28th from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM and will be held each Wednesday, at the same time, moving forward.
I’m sure you are just as excited as we are to start composting your food scraps! Below are some tips to make sure everything goes smoothly (on your end and ours):
· There will be a separate trash container for any plastic bags.
