This weekend is the African Arts Festival

You know, we've always called it the "African Street Carnival/Festival," even though we've long known the formal name. This is where I first met Lauryn Hill in 1998 (this was back when the festival was held at Boys and Girls High School field, which, even at a small physical space, made for a more intimate event). Absolutely love this event! We'll probably stop by on Friday and/or Saturday.
