I know its not the correct thing to do when looking for a salon that does this procedure but does anybody know where i can get the japanese thermal straightening done for anything lower than 600 dollars?

I have done the TR treatment for 4 years now and have gone to Hidy Hair near Macy's. It's about 500.00 for long hair. It's not a small in the conner dinky salon either. They are really up on the methods and are very careful. They will give you a consultation too. A friend of mine went to Oribe in the city and paid 1000.00 for a burned scalp. She had to wait for all of her hair to grow out to do the treatment again. They offered to do it for a discount the next time around. The nerve. I'd be so angry. Hidy does a fine job and knows my hair by now. Contact Jay and he will answer any questions. Good luck!

b/c it takes like 4 hours... there are several steps, but it lasts a long time

i wish they'd had this a billion years ago when i was in high school, when everyone teased me for my curly hair.

well, not to sound conceited... but my hair pretty much rocks. and as for all the kids who teased me in high school, well... they don't have this fabulous hair!
