AYSO plays at the parade grounds just south of Prospect Park, a little far away. -

I would try Ft. Greene first. We have played at Prospect Park for two years, always unorganized, very cliquish so if you go there make sure your kid has a friend on the team or he/she will feel left out. -

AYSO (at the Parade Grounds) is by far the largest and best organized soccer program for kids- try them first -
My son has played with AYSO six years and he's never felt left out. Most, if not all, of the parents are very approachable. The reason why it works well for us is because there aren't any organized practices during the week. I would certainly recommend it. We're looking forward to the fall season. It's probably too late to sign up for fall, but definitely checkout brooklynayso.org. Good luck!!
