I think your best bet is going to probably be a salvage place. Don't know of any in Brooklyn off the top of my head, but two in Manhattan I saw mentioned recently on Brownstoner are Olde Good Things and Demolition Depot.

I've heard of Demolition Depot (in the Bronx?) but not the other one -- I'll check it out. Was hoping to find a salvage place somehwat closer to home, but I'll take what I can get. Thanks!

Try doing a search on NewYork.Citysearch.com for salvage -- you might find something closer! I just don't know of any myself. -
