looking for apt in Victorian Flatbush

Hi,
I'm looking for a 1br. apartment in the neighborhood available anytime before Jan 1st.. The signal to noise ratio on craigslist is very low, so I'm looking for an alternative.

If anyone has heard of a place, I'd be grateful for any tips or advice. Is there a neighborhood paper or particular broker/realtor I should be checking out? I'm 31, clean, masters degree, have my own company, generally mellow, and looking for a nice place I can comfortably call my home. I don't see a lot of listings for this neighborhood, but having walked around, I can see that there must be some great spaces available.
