How can I add to the calendar

I'm not sure how to add an event to the calendar we have - can someone explain

the calendar appears to be temporarily under construction -- there used to be an obvious Add Event button, but Andy is doing something to it
and the calendar got wiped out in the process....

You have to enter an event as a post, and then make sure you use the
"Event Time" pulldowns... then it automatically shows up in the
megacalendar, regardless of what forum you post in.

so . . . you don't open the calendar anymore to post to it
you go to whatever board applies
and fill in the Events section of the post down at the bottom, just above Poll

the new cal is still being ironed out, but there's the basics
