King size bed for quick sale

I bought a gorgeous king size platform bed (original Cometa by Jesse) at a pricey SOHO furniture place. It is constructed from 8 alternating layers of medium and dark Italian Cherry. The headboard is curved--think of an upside down U with the alternating colors visible on the sides of the U. Because of its shape, this headboard is ultra-comfortable to prop oneself up against while reading or watching TV. I thought that it would work with the rest of the furniture I was buying but it doesn't. :?

The new replacement bed (which is not nearly as nice) arrived and I had to put the beautiful Cometa in my husband's study.

He wants me to get it out of there NOW. :evil:

New price = $3,045 (I know, expensive mistake). I would like to recover about $750 to $1500 of the money I spent.
