courthouse wedding in Brooklyn?

My sister is getting married at the courthouse this week, and we're trying to figure out how much time to leave for line-waiting, so we can make lunch reservations. Anyone done this?

We went on November 21, a Tues, around 12:30. There was almost no one there! Us and one other group. I don't know if it was empty due to the Thanksgiving holidays, or if Tues are normally that empty, but it went very smoothly. The whole thing took half an hour or so.

There were only a few people in line when we went . . . but it can go slow depending on the mood of the employees there, and the needs of the different couples. Still, it was under an hour.
I was there in the early afternoon.
